Govt has channelled RM20.92 bil to wage subsidy programme — Tengku Zafrul

The Government has channelled RM20.92 billion to 357,904 employers through the wage subsidy programme (PSU) to sustain the jobs of 2.96 million local workers to reduce the unemployment rate in the country.

政府已通过工资补贴计划（PSU）向 357,904 名雇主提供 209.2 亿令吉，以维持 296 万当地工人的工作，以降低该国的失业率。

Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz said for PSU 1.0, 322,177 employers and 2.64 million workers benefited from it under the PRIHATIN and PENJANA economic stimulus packages with wage subsidy applications approved hitting RM12.958 billion up till 15^th July, 2022.

财政部长Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz表示，根据 PRIHATIN 和 PENJANA 经济刺激计划，PSU 1.0 的 322,177 名雇主和 264 万工人从中受益，截至 2022 年 7 月 15 日，工资补贴申请已获批准达到 129.58 亿令吉。

Under PSU 2.0 up till 15^th July, 2022, a total of RM1.408 billion had been distributed to 81,164 employers for the benefit of 719,174 workers.

在 PSU 2.0 下，截至 2022 年 7 月 15 日，总计 14.08 亿令吉已分配给 81,164 名雇主，以造福 719,174 名工人。

“For PSU 3.0 in the same time period, RM3.775 billion was distributed to 162,317 employers to sustain the salaries of  1.53 million workers.

“在同一时期的 PSU 3.0 中，向 162,317 名雇主分配了 37.75 亿令吉，以维持 153 万工人的工资。

“In fact, PSU 3.0 has been improved under the PERMAI, PEMERKASA, and PEMERKASA+ economic packages,” the Finance Minister said in the 105th People’s Financial Report released on 4th Aug.

“事实上，PSU 3.0 在 PERMAI、PEMERKASA 和 PEMERKASA+ 经济方案下得到了改进，”财政部长在8月4日发布的第 105 次人民财务报告中表示。

Tengku Zafrul said under the PEMULIH economic package, the Government implemented PSU 4.0 with an allocation of RM3.8 billion which benefited 2.5 million workers.

Tengku Zafrul 表示，根据 PEMULIH 经济配套，政府实施 PSU 4.0，拨款 38 亿令吉，惠及 250 万工人。

“In the period up to 15^th July, 2022, RM2.57 billion was distributed to 163,942 employers so that they continued to operate, helping to sustain the jobs of 1.92 million workers,” he added.

他补充说：“在截至 2022 年 7 月 15 日的期间，25.7 亿令吉已分配给 163,942 名雇主，以便他们继续运营，帮助维持 192 万工人的工作。”

For PSU 5.0, RM210.189 million was distributed to 7,928 employers up till 15^th July, 2022, which enabled them to continue their operations and sustain the salaries of 119,813 workers. 

对于 PSU 5.0，截至 2022 年 7 月 15 日，已向 7,928 名雇主分配了 2.10189 亿令吉，这使他们能够继续运营并维持 119,813 名工人的工资。 

Meanwhile, Tengku Zafrul revealed that 33,456 participants have been successfully placed in the public sector and government-linked companies under the Malaysia Short-term Employment (MySTEP) programme up till 15^th July, 2022. Of that number, 17,446 workers were placed in the public sector while 16,010 people were sent to GLCs.

与此同时，Tengku Zafrul 透露，截至 2022 年 7 月 15 日，马来西亚短期就业（MySTEP）计划下的公共部门和官联公司已成功安置 33,456 名参与者。其中，17,446 名工人被安置在公共部门。而 16,010 人被派往官联公司。

To help young people with disabilities (OKU) find jobs, Tengku Zafrul said the Government has prepared a quota of 1% of job placement opportunities under the MySTEP programme for them. “The government very much encourages the OKU community to take advantage of the opportunity and participate through the MySTEP portal,” he added.

为了帮助残疾青年（OKU）找到工作，Tengku Zafrul 表示，政府已根据 MySTEP 计划为他们准备了 1% 的就业机会配额。“政府非常鼓励 OKU 社区利用这个机会并通过 MySTEP 门户参与，”他补充说。

The Finance Minister added that the Professional Training and Education for Growing Entrepreneurs (PROTÉGÉ) Ready-to-Work programme under the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (MEDAC) can help in the marketability and entrepreneurship of graduates, with the programme recording 4,316 new graduates up to 15^th July, 2022.

财政部长补充说，企业家发展和合作部（MEDAC）下的“成长型企业家专业培训和教育（PROTÉGÉ）准备工作计划可以帮助毕业生的市场化和创业，该计划记录了4,316名新毕业生至 2022 年 7 月 15 日。

The Government, via the Higher Education Ministry, has also allocated RM100 million for the KPT-CAP career advancement programme to help unemployed graduates. KPT-CAP has managed to place 3,618 graduates under the programme up till 15th July, 2022.

政府还通过高等教育部拨款 1 亿令吉用于 KPT-CAP 职业发展计划，以帮助失业的毕业生。截至 2022 年 7 月 15 日，KPT-CAP 已成功将 3,618 名毕业生纳入该计划。

Tengku Zafrul also noted that the National Apprenticeship Scheme (SPN) under the Youth and Sports Ministry, with the cooperation of the Works Ministry and Human Resources Ministry, has been set up to help youths get jobs. “Up till 15^th July, 2022, 4,459 youths have been placed via the JaminKerja PERKESO Wage Incentive,” he said.

Tengku Zafrul 还指出，在工务部和人力资源部的合作下，青年和体育部下属的国家学徒计划（SPN）已经建立，以帮助年轻人找到工作。“截至 2022 年 7 月 15 日，已有 4,459 名青年通过 JaminKerja PERKESO 工资激励计划获得安置，”他说。

Under the CENDANA Recovery Initiative, the Government allocated RM10 million, which benefited 3,000 people in the field of arts and culture. Up till 15^th July, 2022, there were 1,582 applicants for the initiative with RM7.5 million distributed to 590 applicants.

根据 CENDANA 复苏计划，政府拨款 1000 万令吉，使艺术和文化领域的 3,000 人受益。截至 2022 年 7 月 15 日，该倡议共有 1,582 名申请者，共发放 750 万令吉给 590 名申请者。
